Demetri Evdoxiadis

About: Demetri was born in Greece and grew up in New Orleans, where music took ahold of him by force in high school. He began his professional career performing on bass, and teaching music. Producing and mixing music became the focus thereafter. After graduating Webster University with a BM in Music and Music Technology in 2004, he went onto tour internationally with 2 time grammy winning band: Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.

The Pathwaves is music and art collective: The brain child of Demetri Evdoxiadis. Demetri is the group’s bassist, main songwriter, producer, and engineer. The Pathwaves debut EP entitled "Beyond" is a forward thinking and futuristic effort drawing from Neo Soul, Jazz Fusion, Funk, and Electronic styles. More than just a musician collective they draw inspiration from visual art, philosophy, science, sacred geometry, and social issues that are interwoven to create multi-media immersive experiences. A broader vision for the future of artistic expression means striving for meaning, depth, and innovation in our art as a means to bring people together.
